The most recent episode of Prison Break, episode 309 that aired Monday January 14^th at 8pm on Fox, there was very interesting to say the least. It began with Molly Lief, a woman from Scottsdale, Arizona, searching through papers to find a photo of a handsome man with a small girl. Then skips to Sona where General Zavala is interrogating Michael who tells him he has no clue who would have sent the helicopters and is then placed in solitary confinement. Zavala tells Michael that keeping secrets will eventually eat him alive and tear him apart inside, as he is telling Michael this Molly is burning her paper and we catch a glimpse of a photo of Michael in the pile before she leaves her house. Meanwhile Sofia confides to Lincoln that she doesn’t trust Whistler, the man Michael is trying to break out, anymore. Susan arrives and kidnaps Lincoln and takes him to see his son LJ to motivate him more. Lincoln tells LJ that the next time they see each other not to take his eyes off of his and he will tell him what to do. Later in the episode Michael confesses to Zavala that he has been planning an escape without naming names, but the guard is reluctant to believe him. The show drags on until at the end Gretchen leads Zavala to a fake hideout where LJ is not there and kills him. At the end an announcement comes that Michael has a visitor at the gates, Molly, and he has no idea who she is. The next episode is sure to have more action and suspense just as this one did. It will be airing Monday the 21^st at 8pm eastern on Fox.

During season two there were many different things that happened to the brothers. First Michael was wrongly put in prison at Sona, a prison that has no guards or authorities, to break out Whistler.

He has to keep out of the watchful eyes of Lechero and keep himself safe from three enemies, Alex Mahone (William Fichtner) a renegade FBI agent who used to be involved with the agency that put Michael behind bars, Brad Bellick (Wade Williams) a former Fox River Prison Guard, and Theodore “T-Bag” Bagwell (Robert Knepper) a homicidal pedophile.

Later in the season Lincoln has to help with the break out from outside the prison while also trying to save his son LJ (Marshall Allman) and Michal’s love Sara Tancredi (Sarah Wayne Callies) from being kidnapped. The season was full of action and suspense and season 3 is sure to be the same.

Prison Break airs on Monday nights at 8pm eastern on Fox. The show stars brothers Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell) and Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller). The brothers are constantly on the move and in and out of prison for crimes and murders they did not commit. The show began with season one where Michael breaks his older brother Lincoln out of Fox River Penitentiary for a murder that he had not committed.

Michael, Lincoln, and other convicts became the target of a nationwide manhunt that would up leading them to Panama. Season two begins with a twist and even though Lincoln was exonerated for the alleged crimes, the brothers’ freedom and happiness was cut short when Michael was framed for a crime by the same government conspiracy that had put Lincoln behind bars at Fox River Penitentiary.

By the end of the season Michael finds out that he was pub in Sona Prison to find another daring and impossible way to break out and free a mysterious inmate named Whistler (Chris Vance) who is hiding in the prison’s sewer system. Sona Prison is unlike any other prison as a riot among the inmates has made all the guards and authorities leave the prison ruled by a drug lord, Lechero (Robert Wisdom). Season three is airing now, so there is no telling what kind of trouble the brothers are going to get into next.

Prison break star Amaury Nolasco is set to star in the new movie titled “The Night Watchmen” This movie is jam packed with big stars: Keanu Reeves (The Matrix trilogy), Hugh Laurie (House M.D.), Chris Evans ( The Fantastic Four movies), Forest Whitaker (The Last King of Scotland), Naomi Harris (Pirates of the Caribbean II & III), and many more. I don’t think they can mess this one up! The movie is about a cop who is struggling after the death of his wife. Then he is accused of killing a fellow officer, and then he must fight an uphill battle against the very people he use to trust. The movie is in Post production and is slated to come out summer 2008.

Sounds like a great hit of a movie and I can’t wait for it to come out! It’s directed by David Ayer (U571) this is definitely a great move for Amaury. I loved his role he did in the big hit of 2007 “The Transformers”

Until then I will be glued to the TV and enjoy his role on Prison break and support him in the theater when “The Night Watchmen” comes out.

Dominic Purcell’s New Movie Town Creek

Prison Break star Dominic Purcell who plays Lincoln Burrows has a new movie coming out called “Town Creek” It’s about two brothers that seek revenge and become snared in an occult Third Reich experiment. Defiantly sounds interesting. The film has a great Director: Joel Schumacher and is written by David Kajganich (did the screenplay for “The Invasion”) this film has some great talent. Purcell’s brother in the movie is Henry Cavill (The Count of Monte Cristo) and it should be a great movie. The movie is slated for an early 2008 release since it’s in post production and after shooting in Romania. Don’t forget to check out the movie Primeval either, it’s a great flick!

I have liked Dominic since I saw him in Blade III. I thought he did a great job in that one. And once I saw him in prison break I knew he was going to be a big star. He decided to try acting on a whim and what do ya know, he is now in one of the biggest shows that the FOX network has!

Prison break has a very strong following and it’s a show where you can go anywhere with the story. I look forward to many more seasons.
